Tewabech (Titi) Telahun
My Story
My name is Tewabech, but most people call me Titi. My journey of blending authentic Ethiopian flavors with modern, healthy options started right at home—with my toughest critics: my three boys and my husband. Like many families, they were skeptical about whether I could serve them healthy alternatives to their favorite Western dishes without compromising on taste. I took that challenge to heart and proved that it’s possible to create meals that are both nourishing and delicious.
This experience inspired me to bring the same passion and creativity to EthioSavor Delight. I’ve worked to transform traditional Ethiopian dishes into modern, low-calorie, and health-conscious creations that don’t sacrifice the bold, vibrant flavors we all love. For me, food is more than just what’s on the plate—it’s a way to connect people. As Anthony Bourdain once said, "Food may not be the answer to world peace, but it’s a start." I truly believe that sharing a meal can bring people from all walks of life closer together. That’s the heart of EthioSavor Delight: celebrating Ethiopia’s rich culinary heritage while building a sense of community and togetherness.
Beyond my love for food, my journey has taken me across cultures and continents. I earned my Bachelor's degree in India, completed my studies at the University of Colorado, and worked in business administration for National Geographic. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for global connections, storytelling, and the way food plays a role in every culture.
I can’t wait for you to experience the love, tradition, and creativity that goes into every dish we serve. Welcome to my table!
